I launched innerspace my anti virus popped up I did an exception and it f'in deleted my shortcut and now i cant use/find it. I went to try to reinstall and it tells me error opening file for writing. So do I have to totally uninstall innerspace and isx or is there another way around it? Time to get a new antivirus if its gonna do that sh#t....any suggestions?

Ok i found it in my virus vault and just restored it. Had to reinstall the innerspace but when i go to type in ext isxeq2 it just tells me isxeq2 cannot be loaded. I spose i screwed it up knowing me.

I have got it to now not state "extension isxeq2 cannot be loaded"
Now this is what it says/does...

ISXEQ2 checking subscription status--please wait.....
Extension 'ISXEQ2' loaded

Then it does an EQ2 Client Application has stopped working.
I for some reason thought this was an issue before but I could not find it on the forums so I appologize if I overlooked it. If you can help me figure this out or if there is a link to it on forums please let me know...

TY~~

Make sure innerspace isn't running in compatibility mode. Google to find out how to check/change it.

I checked it and it is not running in compatability mode (box is not checked)
Just keeps freezing after it says "ext isxeq2 loaded" then I get the client application has stopped working. Anything else i could try that you may know of?

What you're describing sounds like it's not able to connect with the server for authentication.

If you want to install Teamviewer and then email me with the login information I'll look at it late at night before I go to bed (i.e., when you're not needing to use the computer.) I had someone else with a similar problem lately and I'm honestly not sure what could be causing it if it's not an anti-virus thing. But, there are a few things I can try...but I need to do it myself to debug it.

I don't think you reinstalled isxeq2 ...perhaps you just copied it over? Anyway, the problem was that she was missing a file from the isxeq2 installation. Fixed now.

Interestingly, my 3rd PC is all of sudden having the exact same error. Off to find isxeq2.dll to download and overwrite the file. Windows is telling me the file has errors in it. I've been using ISXEQ2 and Ogre for a year problem-free.

I went to the Announcements forum and found the manual download of ISXEQ2, downloaded it, and that fixed the problem.

Weird :)
