Updated Ogre Profile Request Thread!

Anyone running a mage group.... my second group is a mage group with a nerco, wizzy, illy, troub, fury and mystic. all geared in most pow and 187 coe gear. my problem Is that my necro and wizzy are way behind in dps compared to the rangers and bl in other groups. So if anyone got a wizzy and necro profile I would love to try them out..... right now im using the ones from ogre wiki... thanks

Mine does with mystic merc on epic x4 dummy 175k.CB 276,Pot 308,INT 4037.All expert only spells,right side prestige.Is it bad or terribad...or normal for current gear (1 tier Drinal,legendary 160 stat jewelry).Cast speed 103.spell reuse 98)

I actually went back,as you mentioned,that on third page was profile,but i think its also pre GU66 one.


Both are worthless without AA specs/focus/whole nine yard of stuff.



So,can you be so kind,and share other important stuff also.(send message,if don't want to put it into open forums)......

uhh... Really? If someone is willing to give you their profile, you're not willing to look at the abilities to see their AA spec...


Posts like this bother me. Someone takes the time to post a profile, and you won't take the time to look at the priority/CA list to see what AA choices they have. This is exactly why people don't post their profiles. Someone posts something, and you come here and call it worthless. Great, so next time you ask, they won't give you anything. Is that worth more?

Reason, i ask more specific specs,like focus and GM choices and AA lines,is usually,that i don't play said class often,and don't have knowledge to set it right.

Using Dudester's Inquisitor profile,but it looks me way outdated,or it does not have right AA lines vs spells it uses in Priority tab.

I'd liked to knew,why several heals,rezzes,buffs and a lot of damage stuff was entirely missing from use?Not worth?Badly used by script?

Hi all, very interesting read here. This is a polite request for some assistance with an assassin script, in a roundabout way haha.

I'm a new 6 boxer - been 3 boxing for ages SK/INQ/COE and enjoying it, now I have upgraded and added ASS/MYS/DIR. I am in a mix of Steward/179advsolo gear/ST cont charms/170 gear.

I can almost but not quite kill Caerina in HEx4, and completing ST:Old heroic is still hit and miss as I try and get the mount for the stats boost. I am quite pleased with the massive boost from adding the 3 new toons, but I am really not feeling like I'm getting what I could out of the dirge and assassin, and not too sure how to go about tweaking them yet as I haven't played them before.

I'm using Rodent's Assassin from the Ogre wiki site. I've reforged as needed so the whole group is 600+MA and all but the mystic are 100%AE etc.

If you feel like you may be able to tweak me a little, please feel free to!

Healer profiles are easymode, spend 5 minutes of your own time read the spells/heals/buffs/blah blah blah and test shit out. Run ACT, run debugging and scan your logs, figure shit out because obviously the help you are getting isn't helping...

Why spec for so many heals when not needed? If my tank was dying sure, but he doesn't. If you want pure heals, why not just use a templar.
Why not try it and find out for yourself. Or just modify profiles yourself if you think they are missing things. Between the 2, you should be able to get an idea.
Not used/using any of Dudester's profiles at all no.

You aren't going to be able to find much better really. Most changes to it from people now will be personal preferences like items etc.

Cheesy is talking about your AA spec, not the profile. Kannkor was prophetic when he said this is exactly why people don't post their profiles -- it opens them up to unwanted criticism such as this. Follow Eyedea's advice and spend 5 minutes modifying it to your own spec!

IE YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO DO THIS YOURSELF ANYHOW, based on: GROUP SETUP, GEAR, AND WHAT ULTIMATELY YOU PLAN ON ACCOMPLISHING WITH YOUR GROUP/GROUPS.

1 healer in group will probably have a more heal intensive profile vs. 2 healers in group.
2 healers in group working on a hard-mode content will likely have more of a healing mindset vs. someone doing regular coe zones.

Let?s be honest, those of us who have been raiding with our groups for some time probably don't need anything except spot healing here and there, those who lack gear and or exp with the content may focus more on "staying alive".....

To each their own... Take a profile... Look at it... Figure out what shit it does and what shit you want it to do and fix it....

DON'T PLAN ON ASKING FOR A PROFILE AND EXPECT IT TO WORK IN YOUR SITUATION.

I am using rodents profile on wiki for my swashy and just added the few new spells to it really not much to add. He does between 1.4 and 2.6 mil with new zone gear and still not fully geared or adorned.

I'm good on Swash and SK now did them my self works a bit better but np just need a bit of help on a Channeler cant keep the Dissonance down.

To the best of my knowledge, ogre doesn't support dissonance detection (yet) like it does savagery. So, I've suggested to others to enlarge whatever ui window component is showing dissonance such that you can noticably see it while driving your tank, and hotkey your larger dissonance reducing abilities into MCP. Keep the smaller dissonance reducing abilities in CAs (suggest tail end of list) or maybe priority. It's not perfect, but it'll get you by till Amadeus/Kannkor get it finished.

V17 has full channeler support. It's just not done/released yet. But it is coming!

Lol yeah. "You got reanimate on your necro? You know teamwork is more dps, if your pet dies a lot you suck" "Why did you get teamwork instead of reanimate? For the fights that matter it's better to have reanimate!" Or "you went dual conversion on your mystic? I parsed it and right hand side is more dps" "you should go dual conversion on your mystic, wards need all the potency you can get!" etc.

any ideas why it keeps telling me access denied when I attempt to save over the EQ2Chars.inc file? I am simply adding my chars here etc. after I attempt to save the file it ask to replace I hit Yes then another box pops up access denied.

following the Wiki step by step I am lost at this point, also I do not see the readme file here either.

Are you using notepad in administrator mode? If not you can't save the file.

Kevin is right. An easy work around is like he said, right click Notepad when you go to run it, click "run as administrator".

Alternatively, make a copy of the file somewhere where you do have write permissions (it's good to have a backup). Then edit/save it in that location. When done with your changes, copy and paste your new version of the file. It will then prompt you to approve the over-write.

Well... I guess the easy answer is "yes", but that could be 50 years from now, which is technically "after my trip".

But my goal is to get all 25 samples back up and existing (only have like 18 samples at the moment). Then I'll post and get people to switch over as they can.

I won't 'force' people to switch over for at least a month (probably more), unless there is some issue that arises with v16.

If you need some help making up sample profiles I have a fair bit of free time at the moment I can generally make a few up. Not sure how many testers you currently have.

Never had criticized anybody,who put profiles up,i lack knowledge to criticize profiles,in general.Was just asking for extra information,if even that.

Like,what AA was used,if it wasnt included,or how parses differes so mutch from mines...(like..2x-3x bigger dps or hps,or whatever)

And for smartasses,suggesting to do own excel tables....i dont use excel,never used and most probably never will,cos formulating behind excel math is beyond me.I dl that super warlock table,from eq2flames,looked at it,and no way i can empty fields and remake it to other classes,or newer skills

Profile uploads were unofficially moved to the other OgreBot forums. You can find them Here . (Go into GU68 Archive, since all the uploaded profiles were moved there at AoM launch.)

What changed in AoM that necessitates an entirely new profile upload? Each class got 2-3 activated abilities. Just slot those in and presto, you have an AoM profile.

Can somebody "thrustworthy" explain profiling 101 basics,lets say :Healer
Rezzes first in profile?Noncombat bufs to ends?Heals before combat debuffs?Or it goes that fast through list,that it doesnot matter (not talking microseconds theorycrafting)?

It takes time to clean a profile before posting it. And I haven't updated my profiles. As someone else mentioned, I have literally added the 2-3 new AoM abilities into my existing profiles, and said "good enough" until I make time to update them for real. I've been working on coding the new zones vs spending time on my profiles.

anyone knows when would profiles be released? I just know how to move my toon on eq2, ogre does the rest and I don't know how to create these profiles.

Having said that, I don't think anyone has really done many changes to any of the existing ones.

We're now running into a "problem" with ethereals. When you have some ethereals (take priest 1h that resets cool downs), your caststack could be DRASTICALLY different than someone without one. Because you can start to make some assumptions, and you can tweak and change a lot of things. If someone tweaked their profile specifically because they had an ethereal, you would NOT want to use it on a toon that did not have it.
