Hello,

I recently ran isxvg with no problems, but today all the servers went down and after they were brought back up my VG crashes whenever I get to the char select screen on VG. I noticed that a single file was downloaded when I patched, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, anyone else experiencing this?

Engine.dll was patched so a rebuild will be required by our leader Amadeus
If it is crashing then we will need a download from the web site.
Amadeus will advise as soon as he gets the time so - go watch a movie or fly a kite :D

but re-installing isxVG does not work for me, glad to see its not just a bug with me though...

The guy that posted that was having a problem on the 2nd :) I think he was having the same issue peopel had after the 3/29 update.

This current issue is much bigger - We'll have to wait for our fearless leader. Guess I'll go play the 360 or something... and today is hangover day... wanted to just watch autopilot :)

If you have a backup of engine.dll, overwrite the file after patching, then click play.

It'll allow you to log in and use ISXVG normally with no ill effects.

Heh I'm sure most people don't keep a copy of that one file on hand. Hopefully they read this first before patching.

It is, but the better question is why would it be. ISXVG comes with it's own patcher (which I state in the download thread) ...so, all you have to do is load it and it will update itself.

The reason the previous isxvg crashed instead of refusing to load was becuase they only updated one dll file.

I don't understand why people are asking this question without:
1. Checking the download thread first (it's right there)
2. Load the extension to see if it updates.

In the future, new isxvgs will ONLY be posted here when you HAVE to run the installer (ie, when the patcher needs to be updated.)

So, get used to updating via "loading" isxvg. If it crashes, then it's not updated yet.
