You have stuff like dusts and crafting equipment in there.
What are the critierias you're looking for? Just trash loot or also dusts and crafting equipment?

He also has crafting utilities which some toons will use use as Fuel ingredients.

So be careful what you pull from these lists

Thanks for consolidating the posts, aChallenged1 I was planning on doing it myself but got sidetracked.

As for adding new stuff and alpha order, I copy them into a text file, name it as a csv then open Excel 2003, sort them ascending and then filter the data on unique values. Its how I merged and combined all my crafter's sell items into what I posted. As folks post their 'master' lists you can continue to use that method if you have it available.

Quick question on the current list. I haven't sold the Croco's Pot yet, though I have gotten them before. It was my understanding that they are placeable objects in houses, or were in beta in any case. Are they still? If not, then there is definitely no need to keep them, but if they are, might want to highlight that as something to remove from the list at least temporarily.

Smyrk, I don't know. As of today, maybe they are useable. So, remove them from the sell list if you wish to keep them, until you're sure one way or the other. Not sure what "good" they are other than perhaps decoration.

On this system I can use Excel, so maybe I'll do it your way. But, I bet the list, while it will grow, it won't grow very fast. I could be wrong, but we'll just have to wait and see. And I will, as a service to the community, gladly keep this list up-to-date as my contribution since I'm not up to speed with scripting.

I think you are right about the pots being just decoration if they are still placeable. If they have a unique graphic or some such for putting in a house, worth keeping one around, if not :) well, I can keep one in the bank to see, and sell any others I come across.

And I agree, I don't foresee the list growing by leaps and bounds here. While I haven't hit Journeyman yet to see what new items that level of crafting provides, we should have here a fairly comprehensive list into initiate level work orders.

While I am willing to keep updating the master list, I'd appreciate it if you would post your additions as everyone else has, not just the names.

Yes, I can do it from what you provided, but it's just more work for me when you could have simply gone to the xml file and pulled the full line for each.

Are there any other scripts that use a list like this? Seems to me lots of other bots and even ordinary players could benefit from ripping the code out of the bot and making use of a standard selljunk function with a unified list somewhere. (And maybe a UI to manipulate it)

I love the idea, but just the list of Crafting rewards junk is 100 items long... I can only imagine how long a full junk loot list would be.

That said, a nice snippet of code+UI to add auto-sell items to a list that auto-sells whenever a vendor window is opened would be cool :D

I seem to remember that lots of adv looted items have a 'Cash' something in one of the keywords.

Is there a limit to the size of the file or something? I Cut and pasted the Vendor trash list from here into the file where the existing list is, and it did not work. I would save it, load up vgcraftbot, and both the sell and the extra items list is now empty..



Edit: Actually after lookign further it seems it made the whole file invalid and reset it all to defaults.

There's no limit, or none that you'll ever conceivably hit anyway. If the file's not loading at all chances are you pasted something into the wrong place, pasted in something with "garbage characters", or otherwise invalidated the format of the file.

I cut and pasted from your list post into the section of the vgcraftconfig.xml that has the sell items. Only thing I can think of is if the format from doing the cut & paste is wrong maybe?

Oh wewll easy enough to fix, will just go in game and add them one by one.

Can anyone explain this a little better for us Non-Experience XML editiors? I have Excel but don't understand what is being done. Im also willing to Download another application to edit XML if its easier than the quoted advice.

The only real need to have Excel is to sort the information for posting here. To update your XML (usually c:\Program Files\InnerSpace\Scripts\vgcraft\save\<your char name>\vgcraft-config.xml) just open it in any text editor. Notepad, UltraEdit, what have you.

Copy the entries from my first post in the thread and replace the entries between
Code: 
	<Set Name="Sell">
and
Code: 
	</Set>
This section will likely be at the bottom of your current XML file.

Let me know if you need any more help. :)
