Okay so I've spent several hours toying with the profile for my warlock and while its improved alot, I'm still pretty unhappy with its performance.
So here some background on my warlock:
- 232cb and 232 potency
- capped reuse and casting speed
- 1700 ability mod
- always critting 100% on any content I do
- Group setup: troub/illy/beastlord/conj/inq and the warlock
- Warlock gets potency buff from illy which is ~25 more potency.
- Warlock gets Upbeat Tempo
- Specced for sanguine sacrifice for another buttload of potency.
Take the first named in underdepths for example (these toons are all being run by ogre cept bruiser) -- which is great for a warlock since there are 3 targets in the encounter to start.
(03:24) Tel'koran Bloodmaw
Beastlord | 384892
Brigand | 319246
Assassin | 297870
Conj | 238972
Warlock | 228224
Bruiser | 220126
Illusionist | 214520
This parse is from theldek the stinger which is pretty much all single target the whole way through.. warlock gets outparsed by my illusionist.. its pathetic.

Beastlord | 294338
Brigand| 274615
Assassin | 268721
Conjuror | 215193
Illusionist | 206327
Warlock | 188261
the BL, Conj, Assassin, and Warlock are all pretty similarly geared.
Are you guys getting alot more out of your warlocks? in the cast order i have all the big aoe hitters to start (smart aoe's so they won't cast unless there are multiple targets) followed by the big single target hitters.. dark pyre.. acid.. plaguebringer. and then those bigger aoe hitters again but with ignore AE selected so they still go off on single target fights at a lower priority. Basically tried to fashion the cast order out of the spell efficiency spreadsheets provided over on eq2flames.
I feel like I get way more out of the scout classes for a fraction of the work and am considering rebuilding for a scout dps group instead of this mage dps group since they just aren't putting out the numbers that my scouts can. Or perhaps i should just betray the warlock to a wizard? Haven't tried a wizard out with ogre yet.
Any input or tweaked scripts would be greatly appreciated!
