I'm just a little concerned about paying for this service and then getting banned from the game. What is the status on this? Has anyone lost an account due to this? Is this worth the $10-$36?

Using this service is a clear violation of the EULA and if discovered is a bannable offense.

There are certainly those that have been banned using it, however that isn't to saw bans are a common occurance.

If you do not AFK bot, you stand EXTERMELY little chance of ever getting banned, the only people I'm aware of that got banned for attended botting were using aditional hacks, or duping.

However, if you leave your toon running harvest unattended you run the chance of being banned, the more you run scripts unattended, especially in open zones where they can be observed by the player base, you run the risk of being banned.

I'm not aware of anyone ever being banned while attending scripts, or using the software to 'box' a character.

Your results may vary.

The community consensus is, don't start running scripts unless you plan to get banned. This motto comes from the only person responsible for getting your toon banned is you!

Don't forget that the ISXEQ2 extension is a different product than IS. Running straight InnerSpace and EQ2 is not something SoE would ban you for as far as I can see. It is most definetly worth the $10-$36 subscription to Lax for Innerspace.

Using the extension developed by Ama is a different story. Donations to him for the extension are also worth it IMO, but many folks confuse the two or treat them as the same product.

It is important to understand that utilizing any 3rd party software in conjunction with EverQuest 2 is against that company's terms of service. This includes everything from a log parser to ISXEQ2 and everything in between. So, while using ISXEQ2 is not against the law, it is against the rules. However, the good news is that this rule is somewhat like the speeding laws in America. If you drive 75mph in a 55mph zone, you will probably eventually get caught. However, if you're driving 60mph in a 55mph zone, the officer will probably ignore you. So, in other words: be smart. Be discreet and courteous to your fellow players and use the extension for what it was intended (enhancing your gaming experience) and things will probably be well in the world. That being said though, no one here will have any sympathy or take any responsibility for any results that might occur from your use of ISXEQ2.
