Is it possible to bot 2 chars on the same PC?? Like having a 2nd Window up for the 2nd char (Game)??

I know other games (WOW, WAR) support this. What kind of software do I need for this?

Thx

Last time I checked, Vanguard did not allow for this. You might want to search around on the vanguard official forums and see if anything else has come of people requesting this feature; however, last time I checked there was no way to run more than one instance of VG on a computer at a time.

Yes you can.

Its best to have them both full screen and just alt tab between windows. Youll need a good sytem to do this.

Launch them both the same way. Nothing special there..

But, a few of the bots dont like beint alt tabbed. the movemnt will error out or just stop all together.

This was correct for a long time but in a patch not to recent changed it to allow for multiple clients of vanguard.

You can actually do more than 2... I have been able to do 3 with no problems, but when I go to 4 it lags a bit on one of the clients.

Really?

I only use one client with VG; however, I've found that playing VG in windowed mode is MUCH better than full screen. It seems more stable as well as more efficient, etc (especially if you are doing other things with your computer other than just playing VG.)

I have also noticed that I get much better performance in windowed mode. I actually was experiencing crashes when playing VG and have had zero since I switched.

weird when running 2 games at the same time in windowed mode i notice a HUGE lag on the back screen. WHen running full screen there is no lag on the one thats tabbed.

I am able to run several (have tried up 4) instances of vg on the same pc. I play in windowed mode and leave all windows open and am able to switch between instances by clicking on individual windows on my toolbar at the bottom of my screen (alt + tab freezes my pc for some reason). recently i bought a new computer but prior to that i was able to run on a crappy pc up to 3 instances.

my old pc was a dell xps 410 straight out of the box. I upped the ram from 1 gig to 2, and after the 7200 card crashed i replaced it with an ati 3650. i was able to run up to 3 instances on this in all areas exept apw (too much lag for 1 account much less three). I did have to turn my settings down to best performance on all windows though.

the lag or reduced FPS on the "off" or Back screen is unfortunately a windows load balancing issue..i have tried several things but i just cant seem to balance the two clients......it works just fine but i can only get about 6 fps on the back screen

oh yeah i can run 2 instances just fine...the "off or Back" window just has a lower fps...like anywhere between 6 and 9 fps while the front or main window runs at 60 .... livable...just slower thats all...been messing with is boxer for a day or so and i can get the back one up to 30 fps now ; )

isboxer

you guys should check out ISboxer as part of innerspace. It does pretty well with vanguard.. especially with vista and more ram.
