I'm using the craft bot to do rush order writs in my guild hall.
I'm not having a issue with my character running to the stations, but i am having some problems.

1. sometimes the crafting progress list will say i have completed 3/3 of something when i haven't crafted any, i think it happens when i fail at the combine, is there a way to have the bot attempt to recraft when it fails a combine?

2 sometimes between the 3 and 4th rush writ the script will exit saying it is having problems getting a writ, but i do indeed have the writ in my quest journal stuck on the step to pull the work order. this might be lag im not sure it works great when i sit and watch it do the writs. i have the clip board in one spot, do i need more?

3. when i'm just crafting arrows, i select camp out when done, i do not log out. i have to use the camp after so many minute option to log out.

Lastly i have a request. i there a way around the max 5 rush orders? only for in the guild hall.

1. no.

2. sounds like a lag issue, nothing can be done to correct it.

3. known issue, will try to fix this in the next version of craft.

Lastly. no. don't ask. I'm not joking. If I removed writs altogether, it would eliminate that problem, and I've seriously considered it on multiple occasions.

Problem is removing it would inspire someone to make a craftbot that did writs, probably not as well, and probably without any restriction, which would eventually bring more attention then leaving it as is.

Problem with that is, Amadeus would then remove crafting capability completely, and actively work to break any scripts that attempted to work around it. Keep pushing. It could happen.

You have no idea how much we had to beg and plead with him to allow a crafting bot in the first place.

It wouldnt be to hard just to block all quest data that contains "rush order" or "work order" from the questdata data type. So... Its easily broken. Honestly, I wouldnt mention the whole writ increas thing. There are plenty of threads around with this debate in it.

The reactives for the crafting are already locked down inside the extension to help prevent this.

First off, i just want to say that you guys are amazing for what you have done and i am extremely grateful for the scripts as they are. i used to be a eq 1 player and Mq over there has pretty much no governing body and people abuse it horrible. You guys are doing an awesome job.

Yes, ISXEQ2 is a dictatorship with generals (all of my extensions are the same.)

Fortunately you are not forced to deal with it, since you can certainly play the games without them; however, I do design and release things according to my own philosophy and what I feel can benefit players without breaking the game too much.

And, squrielman has it right, MQ/EQ1 was a nightmare because the 'botting application' was open source and just made things crazy. ISXEQ2 was closed source long before I charged money for it. In fact, I'll be seriously surprised if we EVER see another open source 'botting' type program for any game. The users of MQ 'screwed the pooch' on that one...
