anyone else notice that if you start innerspace with the ext isxeq2 option even though cause of the patch it unloads but it will still crash the game when i log a toon in.. works fine when i stop the ext isxeq2 from preloading. Its never done this before.

Which EXE? Everything loads fine. Not like the usual update that says "this version is made to work with the first executable on day whatever" just crashes right before load finishes.

Well tried the latest one and got the normal error. Loaded the same one I downloaded yesterday and everything is fine now. (December 7th).

I had the same issue last night. i read on the SOE forums that if youre using a custom ui, you may need to delete the main_hud_knowledge file from the custom UI folder. i did it and it worked for me last night.

Well Im having the same problem, tried the fixes, and I cant even log onto eqII at all. I have bypassed the station launcher, and game wont load without it. when I try to go through station launcher get the error message that my .exe fill is bad.

Anyone else still having the problem with crashing when they log in?

Lets start at the beginning...

1) Can you log in through the station launcher, NOT using innerspace?
--> If not, it's not related to isxeq2. So good chance it is a UI problem.
2) Can you log in through innerspace, but NOT even trying to load isxeq2? (at this stage don't change the EXE).
--> If #1 worked but this one doesn't.. We can deal with it then. It's very unlikely.
3) Get the correct EXE, and can you log in through innerspace, but NOT trying to load isxeq2?
--> Should work fine.
4) While in game, try to load isxeq2?
--> What happens? Can you read any of the console before it crashes? Do you get any error message at all?

When answering, if any step doesn't work, be as specific and exact as possible. Saying "I tried everything and it doesn't work" usually means you didn't try everything, or you fucked up a step.

Please try not loading extension until you are fully in a zone fore 30-60s.

Also, read Kankor's post 5 times before responding agian.

please verify the account that IS is running as has full permissions to the innerspace\extensions\ folder. Greek to me. I run ISXeq2 on two other machines with no problems if that helps.

On my main computer, I always have to hit the tilde key and type it all in manually to run it ever since a HD crash, and re-installing everything.

Still Crashing

Ok ive even did a format of my hard drive and reinstalled everything and im still crashing when i try to log a char to the world. Now if i run the present eq2 exe i can get into the game via IS but of course then isxeq2 does not load cause its the wrong eq2 exe. So im left with this when i try to run the patched 201012070715 exe that isxeq2 has out atm then i can not even get past the toon getting into the world. isxeq2 auto load is disabled, i load it from the console. So riddle me this batman what is the issue im thinking it has something to do with win7 and the present patched released 201012070715-EverQuest2.exe that we are suppose to be using. Please ama help me out here ive not been able to use the software since the forced patch!
