Eq2bot Templar Script Issue

My templar is constantly healing themselves, even when full health, even when idle.

Update: This happens when a pet is set as MT, or when self is selected.

Also, Templar also does not buff group symbol and courage, when checked.

That's because your templar, just like every other templar in the game, is pissed off at you, life, SOE, and everyone.

Low level templar healing is still pretty wack. I dont know if pygar put his new healing routines into templar yet, but I just had two fights in a row, one where the templar blew all his mana, the second where he just sat there and watched the MT die. Didn't change a thing in between.

Two more fights where templar bot just sat there. Status said idle the entire fight.

Same Issue

Im Having the same Issue with my lvl 80 Templar 1 fight she will just stand there and do nothing and the next it is just fine keep trying to recreate it it just seems really random probably happening 1 in 10 fights or so. Any ideas?

I know this is the templar post, but I get the same issue with my coercer. Might be it's not seeing the start of combat properly. Most fights he's great, then some he stands there like a dunce.

Same with my healers too. Most of the time good but sometimes just stand there.

As far as ideas?

You set an MA in the bot. If some other actor, pet, npc, whatever shares the same name of that MA, the bot may not read the MA's target correctly.

There is an assist range on tab1 before you start the bot. if this is set low, and you're not within that range of the MA or KillTarget, you will not enter the combat function.

I just updated my Templar. Haven't used EQ2Bot with her in a long time, since I only solo and the script was mostly a group script. However, now, wow, she can go solo now.

To fix the problem of constantly healing, I just renamed all the spells in the 4 line. Such as Greater Amelioration listed at 43,4. I changed it to Greater lioration. I then had to change all the ones below it in that 4 line. Of course she won't be able to cast that spell anymore, but it is a quick fix until something better comes along.
