When I end the bot commander it places a info chat in my eq2 chat window saying ending eq2botcommander is there a way to keep that out of my logs.

Edit the script and remove any "eq2echo". Or change them from "eq2echo" to "echo". Echos go into the console.

Is this something I should worry about? I can remove it the echo etc, but I just wanted to know if this is something that will bring attention to my toon.
Thanks.

logs....

txt logs are local; do you really believe that there is a chat log for each char stored somewhere in the soe archives? however it probably still best to remove since if you do have to submit a log file for a petition you wont have to manually parse it to remove the text

But nothing every came of it.. all in all they can see you logs..Anyone says they cant is full of shit. To this day i never speak of any kind of 3rd party program in /tells .. guild chat or anything.

Let's see this proof...

Anything you send through the server, including chat, COULD be logged. This does not include local echos on your client, nor does it include a user-modifiable log file. GMs would not trust the actual file from your hard drive because it would be entirely too easy to tamper with it.

BTW, I'm just arguing Devil's Advocate here. I personally believe in removing every eq2echo in every script, and would not be upset if Amadeus removed the command entirely (the log output can as easily be done with the LavishScript Redirect command).

you know what your all childish here.. so fuck this place.. have at it get busted.. i wont be posting here no more.
Seems like you fit in with being childish...

Many of us, as Val mentioned, remove all eq2echos because there is no reason to take an unnecessary risk. However, I have yet to see anything remotely close to proof that says they can see an eq2echo. YOU were the one coming here stating they can see your chat log. While they can see server logs, that is very different.

Either way, I guess there is no point me responding to you if you are unable to respond to me, since you won't be posting here anymore.
