Forced Patch Nov. 1

I'm getting a forced patch message after the maintence patch today. Anyone else?

Generally 7 - 72 hours depending on how much has changed.

This looks like a very minor patch so far, so hopefully later tonight.

When the issue with the forced patch is fixed where will I download the info that i need to copy into my eq2 folder?

To update, right click on the Innerspace icon in your system tray and click Everquest II No Patch, load up your character and when in game hit the ~ to bring up the console and type "ext isxeq2" without the quotes or /ext isxeq2 in the game chat console. Isxeq2 will load up, realize there is a patch and either patch or unload itself. I use ~ because you can see the text isxeq2 outputs.

Right now though, trying to update totally fubars the client, which happens sometimes between patch updates. Just have to be patient! =)

I tryed that and the text i got when i typed ext isxeq2 it said i was running a version that didnt work and needed to download the 2nd executable file that is from 10-17-07......
So im guessing that it hasent been updated yet?

When we get a "forced patch" we need to update our EQ2 via SOE's patcher. Done that?

I patched with sony did a full file scan then closed it and did no patch and when i get in game and try to load ext isxeq2 i crash and get the message
"your version of everquest2.exe does not match this build of isxeq2.
The version that you need was the second executable file from patch on 10-17-07

just checked again and it is trying to download the patch file but i get this message
"updating 18 files in maNifest updating from version 10-17 to version 11-2 unknown http error access to the path is denied" then it crashes me.
Is the patcher down?
I tryed lowering all my security seting and still access to path is denied.


what am i doin wrong?????

If you are a UK player that downloaded the special UK patch from here, you will need to download the regular isxeq2 and install that. Ama had disabled updating with that special UK patch.

If it doesn't patch properly for you, you can always get the latest dll at http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Extensions/ISXEQ2.dll

cool that worked it got me to be able to Load isxeq2 but when i type run eq2bot now it says "script file eq2bot not found"
I have dopwnloaded all the scripts, my scripts folder in innerspace has a green checkmark?

any ideas?
