I am asking Lax about this; however, my guess is that he changed a requirement without making it obvious in the InnerSpace patch notes.

First, try downloading and installing http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17718 and install it. After you install it, REBOOT THE COMPUTER. Then, see if it works for you without that error message.

If you still get the message, report back and I'll give you another solution while we try to figure it out.

Also, just out of curiosity, what operating system are you using? Is it a legit copy? Have you run the latest windows updates? (This is pretty much required nowadays.)

That's very strange, we need to find out from Lax why this is happening (since it is an Innerspace error, not an ISXEQ2 error.)

For now though, you can patch your ISXEQ2 manually by copying http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Extensions/ISXEQ2.dll to your /innerspace/Extensions directory (overwriting the one that is there.)

If EQ2 has a forced patch before this issue is fixed, then you'll have to do this again. You can always see the latest version of ISXEQ2 by reading through http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/ISXEQ2Manifest.xml
