I believe that's all a Guardian can do this expansion. Doesn't sound like anything is wrong... :D

why wait for rested Exp? You realize that you level slower (in real world time) if you wait for rested exp all the time.

Ok let me put it this way, i play 2 characters (SK and Zerker), i have a lvl 70 Guardian just sitting there harvesting. now my trademen are hitting level 60 so i need to push the guardian up to a higher level so i dont have to worry about agro while im harvesting.

While im playing my guardian my main character is building up rested exp which helps just that little bit.

The guardian script works, it doesn't use the new SF aa, but other than that it works fine.

It sounds to me you didn't check the right options on the class tab.

Is full auto mode supposed to mean just auto attack? Or full auto as in what? I'm not really sure what that option does

So, I have no idea what a Guardian does but this is what you can do to find out, it's what I did to be able to answer your question.

Find the Guardian.iss file in the Class Routine. Search for the word "full". The only hit I got was for "FullAutoMode". Then search further in the script and in the CombatRoutine function there is an "IF" statemtn that checks if "FullAutoMode" is enabled.

In that "IF" it basically casts all of the CA spells that a Guardian would use.

So to answer your question "FullAutoMode" will cast the following CA's:

LayWaste
Obliterate
AA_ExecutionersWrath
AA_AccelerationStrike
A few different Taunts, AE and single I guess
A few attacks
Shield_Attack
ThermalShocker

Now you can dig into the script further by searching the "case" CA's that will be listed in the "Combat_Init". This is where the "case" spell numbers are located. Find the "case" and then the "number" and then open the the Spell List file associated with the Guardian and find out what spell is being cast for each "case".

It is really simple. Just open the Class file and the Spell file and figure out what is happening.

It is very easy to change the script also, don't let it scare you. Make your own.

Just post what you made so you can help others.

Hey thanks Bob,
I havent had the script explained before in that way. It makes me believe that i can have a crack at the script ( sorry im a real technophobe ). Tonight ill have a crack at it and see how good/or bad i go.

Pygar,
I'm sure i have set hte options right ( i have both a Zerker and a SK working fine ) but i'll make sure tonight when i get home thanks for double checking it though.

Just started playing around EQ2bot... is there a way to get the guardian to manually switch targets (and not switch back) when tanking multiple mobs? I found out that if an add is attacking one of my groupmates, and I try to agro that mob off by manually targetting it, eq2bot automatically switches back to my original target immediately. I have to it switch off and control the guardian manually.

By the way, under options, I've set the guardian to be the main tank & main assist.

He will do this for you.

There was an expansion bug that prevented him from targeting things that was fixed very early this morning.

Providing you set the scan range high enough to cover your groups placement, he will pick up any adds and get aggro on them better/faster than generally any player can do it.
