Ok, as the title says, How do I create a path or map of the GH I am using to do my writs and things.

When crafting, he gets stuck on walls or doesnt move,..he doesnt buy. he doesnt really do much unless the writ guy is right next to the crafting table.

It can take a little while to setup a good path for your guild hall, but take your time and do it well. It probably took me a couple of tries, with an hour or two per try. But I finally got one working well enough that all my guild mates / friends who use ISXEQ2 asked me for it and use it :)

4 hours is not long at all to do anything worthwhile with a program like this. It takes twice that long to add even the most simple things or write the scripting that you all use to create those nav files (and I know exactly what I'm doing!)

Everyone has to rethink their concept of time when utilizing an application such as innerspace/isxeq2. If you want to experience it to its fullest potential -- you'll take the 40-80 hours necessary to learn how to write scripts (lavishscript or .NET) and then the hundreds of hours to get good at it.

I don't want to sound rude, but... did you even fucking read the goddamn thread that Amadeus linked?

Specifically THIS part?

You don't have nearly enough named navigation points for the craft bot to work. Here's a list of the nav points you are going to need. And yes, you need them all.

i think he is referring to the actual name of the NPC. His was probably changed from the default "wholesaler" name to something else.

As has been stated many times on these forums, this is an advanced tool. You must be willing to actually READ the posts in the forums, and actually LEARN something from them in order to use this tool. Asking stupid questions that have already been answered TWICE in this thread is not the way to get further help. Read the thread linked. Read this thread again. Read every post on the forums. After you've done so, maybe you'll have a clue and be able to actually understand what is required to get your guild hall crafter working.

If you prefer the easy way out, a VERY sizable donation to me may encourage me to be more sympathetic, and I might actually log in to your server and create your path for you.

Wow

That is the nicest response from you I've ever seen Val lol....But yeah, this stuff is easy if you're willing to put an effort into it. Read read and read some more.

EVERYTHING that you need to know is in that thread that I linked. It is very specific with what points you need to create and gives you the names of the points to use.

FURTHERMORE, I have said numerous times to open the path files that come with isxeq2/craft and see how they are already done. There are three examples and each have the exact same "named" points.

LOGIC is your answer. Use your brain and use LOGIC -- I don't care if you're a newb or not -- this is very straightforward and there is a guide AND examples from which you can figure it out. If it's still too hard, then it's too hard for you and you should give up....because we cannot make it any easier. ISXEQ2 is a piece of software designed for advanced computer users and/or intelligent individuals competent in using logic to solve problems.

If you have done everything that has been said in this thread and your path file matches the examples given exactly (as far as named points are concerned) and stuff is still not working, THEN you can start another thread. However, I encourage you to read through everything here in this thread SLOWLY and CAREFULLY and read through everything in the thread that was linked SLOWLY and CAREFULLY ...as countless 'newbs' have been able to make it work with no problems in the past.
