Is EveBot still active?

New member obviously, just wondering how alive and active isxGames/EVEBot currently. Am new to Inner Space/isxGames and it seems that EVEBot is really the only good option for most things. Have run it a few days playing around and found that mining drones don't work, mission running doesn't work, hauler bot doesn't really work. Although the straight mining works great. (Haven't tried ratting yet) Noticed if I only go back 5 pages on the forums here I'm back to 2009 already!

Are these likely to be fixed updated any time soon? Or should I be shopping for another option? I'd rather stick with isxGames as I really like how it works (not ocr) and how Inner Space runs.

EVEBOT was designed by Amadeus / Cybertech as an example of the capabilities of ISXEVE and what it can do. A few / a lot of things may not work correctly due to changes in EVE, which requires updates and work arounds to be added to EVEBOT.

EVEBOT is maintained on a very relaxed basis, as Cybertech's free time has really been spent on a new verision of ISXEVE that will apparently be a huge improvement to the software that is the backbone of scripting in EVE, ISXEVE Beta.

Cybertech and Amadeus do fix things in EVEBOT from time to time, but its no longer their main objective.

I would say that a vast majority of people who use ISXEVE write their own scripts. Just recently a few new coders have joined and are writing some amazing scripts for others to use ( tinyromeo and Valerian Douchebag ) and have helped out with EVEBOT as well.

Stealthbot is another script / bot written in .net that Stealthy designed and maintained. His software might be more up to date then EVEBOT is. It is also tied into ISXEVE and is very popular.

In short

EVEBOT = Free, limited updates and support
Stealthbot = $5 month, more updates and support
Learning how to code in ISXEVE and building me a better mouse trap ( cause i cant code ) = Priceless!

Thanks for the info, and maybe I'll give StealthBot a look.

The fact that I'm currently in my 2nd semester of a programming degree also makes this platform much more interesting me for all the options for me to play with.

Feel free to take apart and learn EVEBOT and submit fixes/additions/corrections. Once you prove to Cybertech that you are good, then we can talk about having access to edit the evebot svn directly.

Honestly though, I was under the impression that the current evebot on svn was working fairly well. If not, it's just waiting on a BIG isxeve update that due out pretty much any day now (tm).

As a whole the most important parts great, I'm just picky and it seems Mining Drones/Mission Running (courier)/and Hauling all don't work properly at the moment since on IRC I'm able to find people with similar issues but no one with any fixes.
