In Torsis: Shrouded Temple Event - What is the deal with the Mist Wraith? How do you prevent the lifetap that instakills a party member?

There's 2 trash mobs, a terror and a.. mist? When the mist hits 40% health it puts an uncurable on someone. If you don't kill that mist in time it kills someone and heals to full.

So on the <Shrouded Temple>, I am having no luck killing the Vapor boss. Sometimes I can get through one or two of the killing your mirages and sometimes i get killed on the 1st time. anyone have any good tricks to share? In the post, someone mentions just killing a tank, healer, and dps but how are you doing that quickly? Killing the wrong mirage? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using Ogrebot? If so people will go kill their own mirage automatically.

Sorry, yes i am using Ogrebot and the toons do move to their mirage. I have been having to take over the healers and kill their mirage as they generally just stand there casting heals. Maybe that is a mistake? What happens generally is the toons run to kill their mirages and some die before getting back. usually my healers.

An auto attack should kill it.
Any time I've ever seen anyone die on this fight, it's not from not killing their mirage, it's dying to AE damage while running back (usually unlikely for me), or more than likely, an add (haze dudes I think?) is chasing them beating on them. I always try to kill the haze as they spawn to prevent this.
If anyone does die for me, I usually just revive and run back.

Alternatively, if your priests get the adds that are realllllllllllly far away, they kill their add, then the named spawns back on the group, and it takes 20 years for the priests to run back to the group because they are so far away. On my tank I usually just pop a group damage reduction/stone skin and wait for them.

I do think it is the AE or the Haze add. I kill the Haze add immediately but sometimes they pop just before that script or after the script has executed. Maybe it is a gear issue.

I just got my whole team past the sig line. Level 5 is highest any have. The Earth Named kick my butt all last night, second time I tried it. I could not figure out what Kannkor meant by DT charms and setting up by the door did not seem to keep my guys from getting feared out of the room. I slept on it and got up and had my adorn guy make Astral Dominion war runes for the tank and scouts, put my whole team in the corner Kannkor suggested, packed in very tight, and hit CS-Dft. Scouts no moving behind.

That worked! I am posting this for folks getting a late start and for myself as it may be weeks before I can get back to this.

Just FYI, the Deathtouch charm prevents fear, and can be bought from the mushroom vendor in Thalumbra with last expac currency if you have a load left over. (Bottle of Endless Courage).

It's very useful for fights with a fear component, plus the clicky damage is excellent in your cast stack for trash while you're building up the potency etc.

I got an issue... When doing Ritual I set up for Kly, everything is fine.. I burn him quick, the scout and chanter hit the buttons..
and almost every time.. I get the reflections? I even FD'd the chanter, used my brig and sometimes that works.. Any thoughts as to what is going on?

It's bugged and they are ignoring it. You get at least 1 set of reflections no matter what.
I just do a lets go, run everyone down, kill 2 of the 3 reflections, run the 3rd one back up, finish it, and continue on with the fight.
