I recieved a mail today from a gm stating:

"You have been reported for macro use and investigation of our logs has confirmed this. This is an official warning for violating our EULA....."

Has anyone else recieved this, and have any advice? My toon does not rat 23/7, though is in a busy area. Besides moving to a new area, what can I do?

Thank you all in advance for your advice.

Don't be afk, so don't get reported. Problem solved.

AFK botting will result in a ban, eventually. period.

Sell the account and get a new account without warnings, if you plan to play legit from now on then you are fine :)

If you get caught again, you lose everything.

How long is "eventually", at average? Well, I mean, you can't really watch your toons 24/7, as you have to sleep sometimes. Then again, it takes about 8 hours of grinding to gain enough isk to buy a plex and start another account; plus 16 hours more to buy a new battleship, fully fitted. So... maybe it would be better for average income per hour to let your toons run 24/7 and replace banned toons with new ones?

What the hell are you doing that gets you 350mil in 8 hours?

Maybe I hunt on carrier, who knows ;) Well, of course I'm doing less than that atm, but you've got the point... unless they ban in a week of 24/7 or less, it should be more profitable to go for 24/7 and replace toons often rather than handicap yourself at 16 hours a day.

This is a silly discussion and has no reason for being on this forum since it has nothing to do with isxeve.

As cybertech says, if you afk bot, you'll eventually get caught and banned. That's the way it is, and there is no way around that. Sometimes it takes a month, sometimes years; however, sooner or later it happens.

If you cannot live with the thought of losing your character, then you should not be afk botting with it. Make another character for botting.
