Is there a script to determine if a mob exists within a zone?

radar works well but its has limited range etc.

Unlike eq1, eq2 doesn't send the whole zone information to your client. It's limited by range, because that's all the information that is available.

gotcha...

if i max my rendering range in eq2 will that affect the distance of radar at all? guessing not....

The EQ2 client only receives the data it requires to let you play the game. ISXEQ2 only has access to information that is available to the EQ2 client.

I'm pretty sure it does. If you crank your clipping plane down (or what ever it's called), you can't see much, and radar seems to also only show what you can see.

By turning it up you can gain some distance, but it's still what is rendering basically.
