Hard to say. It does say under the FAQ there that while in beta you can still use the older methods of login, but once beta is over the new station launcher "will be the ONLY way to launch Station games." I don't think I've ever heard them mention running EQ2's EXE (or any of their games EXE) directly so even if that was to remain a valid way I don't know that they'd mention it.

One thing to note with it is you can set which games you don't want to autoupdate while your playing other ones. So in theory you can deselect eq2 and run the exe directly as we have been.

They've been wanting to make it so you can't launch the game without using the patcher for years. And, you HAVE to use the patcher on Vanguard ....so it's definately possible.

We'll have to wait and see. If it interfers with innerspace, then Lax will have to fix it. However, if it just means that we have to patch every hotfix ..then that's just how we have to do it.

I installed EQ2 using this station launcher and now i cant even find the installation folder for innerspace to locaet it.. where hell is it? even did a search on my comp itsl ike its not installed

Do a complete system search for "EverQuest2.exe" ...that's all you need to location for innerspace.
