Noobie problems

Hey, I bought ISXEQ2 30 minutes ago and having nothing but trouble I'm afraid. When I run EverQuest 2 through Innerspace it boots up as normal but when I load one of my characters EverQuest 2 Freezes and comes up with that 'This program is not responding' window. I tried running it on a different Innerspace profile and it works BUT none of the Scripts are working, it sais ISXEQ2 is loaded and I load the Script (EQ2Harvest in this case) and I click start and it doesn't do anything.

Open up the innerspace console (using the tilde key) while you're at the character select screen and make sure there are no error messages before you click on a character.

Also, you followed the walkthrough instructions carefully from the website, right?

Also, if you tried a different profile and it says that isxeq2 is loaded, try typing these commands in the console and see what happens (instead of trying to run a script.)

Code:
echo ${ISXEQ2.IsReady}
echo ${ISXEQ2.Version}

I tried them and it's saying 'NULL'.

New user, easy fix. Go download
http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/200901122013-EverQuest2.exe.zip

Uncompress it, drop it into your eq2 directory. ISXEQ2 is based on forced patch versions of the eq2 client. Never patch unless your forced as with the forced patch's Ama has to decompile the client and find all the tidbits to make the program work again.

Enjoy
Thanks that worked :D

Do I have to put certain spells on the hotbar? I don't want to get killed while its harvesting.

No, using EQ2bot spells do not have to be on the hotbar to use them, unless you are fighting manually, right.

By default the EQ2harvest will not attack mobs for you. You will need to load up EQ2bot also. Set the bot so you are the MT and MA and not to autopull and not to ignore anything... probably want to set it to not use AOE spells also.

Should probably load up EQ2afkalarm also in case you fall asleep watching the bot auto harvest.

Setup your harvest path with eq2harvest, setup eq2bot for manual movement. Those are good for starters. There is a aggro check edit in one of my posts you can edit into the moveto.iss and eq2harvest.iss to help prevent running off into the sunset(failed aggro check where you run with aggro on you and continue to do so till you die)

Wired, that was added to moveto a few weeks back.

No manual edit is required. BTW, I think that fixed an aggro from under world condition.

Ahh thanks Pygar, still would need to change it in the eq2harvest.iss as well. And to the original poster, looks like it's patch day. Today you would patch and patiently wait for the ISXEQ2 client to be updated.
