Not rendering?

I seek an answer to a problem I'm having w/ISXEQ2 on my laptop (it works GREAT on my desktop). Using /craft or /run eq2harvest, the actual ISEQ2 windows will not render, although the scripts seem to be starting. Eg., with /craft my bags and recipes flash by (as on my desktop comp), but the window to select recipes and begin crafting does not appear.

Graphics are set to high performance ...

... any suggestions?

Yeah, this has nothing to do with in game graphics settings, only with your IS UI elements. Try re-installing the UI folder from the repository.

Not just UI, but the /interfaces tree that is outside of the /scripts tree.

There are default UI settings in interfaces that we call styles off of all over the place.

OK at the risk of revealing my ignorance and noobness ... UI - User Interface; the files in the Interface subdirectory in the Innerspace directory?

Typical structure:

Innerspace
-- Interface
-- Scripts
------ Interface

Notice there are two Interface directories, one under the root of Innerspace and one for the scripts.

I believe they are referring to both.

If you remove your SVN information and re-update the structure will be created correctly. Simply copy that Innerspace directory from the SVN update and copy and replace onto the working directory for Innerspace.

Thanks folks for the suggestions. I compared the file structure on my two ISXEQ2 installs and they appeared identical. Suspecting a corrupt file, I uninstalled the dysfunctional ISXEQ2, re- dl'd and re-installed.

Since there had been an update since I last worked on this, I got on twonk and grabbed 20080225 (same I had on my other box where I happily craft-botted for a couple hours tonight).

Now I am getting two different errors which truly bale me. First, when I go to unzip 20090225 for the 2nd time, it crashes and I get "The options definition file failed to load. This generally indicates that your patch was corupted for some reason. Try a complete scan, and if that doesn't help you may need to reinstall." I had eq2 do a complete scan, and then tried to load 'ext isxeq2' so it could patch. Here I ran into my next problem. This results in "Please Insert Disc in Drive E:"

??? lol - could my laptop have 'reinstahlzhimer's'?

- any help (or humor) would be appreciated
