Patch errror

I'm new to all of this, and i have updated everquest to the wrong patch. So i have been trying to replace the eq2.exe with one from a previous patch. Every patch i try to replace it with, i get a error message saying that the patch is corrupted.

any ideas?

You need the exe from 9.24.09

I tryed that one, it gives me

" The options definition file failed to load. This generally indicates that your patch was corrupted for some reason. Try a complete scan, and if that doesnt help, then u may need to reinstall."

I get that after every patch i try.

First, get it to work WITHOUT innerspace. Then, we might be able to help.

What do you mean? The game runs without innerspace on. But when i launch it with innerspace, it works, but when i type in console, ext isxeq2, it says i need a different patch. but every patch i try gives me the error above.

Loading isxeq2 should never give you that error message. If you're getting a different error message, please post then one that you're getting. The one you pasted above is something from EQ2, not ISXEQ2.

The EverQuest2.exe you want is this one http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/200909241730-EverQuest2.exe.zip ...the "second EverQuest2.exe patched on 9.24"

I took the link, and i downloaded the compressed File. Using Winzip i extracted the EverQuest2.exe. When i copy the file and try to paste if over the one i have in my EverQuest 2 directory, i get the error message above. hmmm

Did you shut down EQ2? Also, you may need to rename (vs. delete) the old Everquest2.exe file. Then drop the file in folder.

Well you are the smartest man alive!!!! I copied the file and pasted on the folder instead of in it, and it worked!!! thank u so much!!!!!

Keyboard and mouse dont work in XP but does on Vista

I log in and it says I have the rght exe date downloaded in the console but I cant use my keybaord or mouse why? I have vista on two other comps and it works on those but not the two with XP Help me please.
