I am sure there is some easy way of doing this that I am missing.

How do I script the herbalist?

What I would like is an MCP button that instructs my toon(s) to

1. Get "Red Potion"
2. Use "Red Potion"

if I could get a step by step on this as I am sure that there will be many occasions I want to do something like this in the future.

That would have been a usefull reply if you had included the script name and the location of any existing button.

I can help you add things to MCP, but you'd have to know the code. The herb stuff isn't mine so I have no idea what it's about.

If I had found that super easy I would not have posted at all. If my groups dps was double what it is I would not have asked either.

However my group and skills are what they are, and there will be other occasions when I need to use a special item in a new way.

So far only Kannkor has posted a useful reply.

If the poster with the script would enlighten us as to the source of his code, then Kannkor can assist me and others with putting it in MCP.

I'm not on my home computer, but the potions are ground clickies, MCP already has a button that clicks special ground spawns. As does eq2botcommander. After harvesting them, you can use them just like anything else in your inventory via Me.Inventory
