Has anyone killed Pera in Labs without first triggering 2 mobs? I gave it a shot earlier tonight out of curiousity and came fairly close before Kryvac's AE chewed up my tanks last deathsave. Kryvac was down(but Pera absorbed him) and Pera was down to ~15% before he/she/it got an AE off.
I couldn't be bothered to go get more immunity signets(stun...), so I didn't try again but I'm still curious. I may try it a again, but treat it like the ZUA fight and keep Kryvac permanently stiffled while the rest of the encounter is killed.

Yes.
I cheat through, I just use bladedance and burn. I usually kill the adds first, but if you raw burn perah, when he dies, he drops a chest (the rest are still alive, but who cares if you die after that), or evac.

I heard you always get a metal chest if you do it that way. I don't run that zone much, but the one time I did it like that, I got a metal chest. Can't say it wasn't coincidence.

I also got a metal chest, although I did it "legit"and killed the entire encounter. Used both a bard with Bladedance and a warden with T. Shell to give myself a minute to burn Pera and Kryvac down. After that it was pretty trivial.

I seem to be having an issue with the 2nd named in palace (4 named) I kill Praun everytime but i get overwhelmed by adds once he dies I will get the normal set of adds when he is 70% but then after he dies ill get a shit ton and cant kill them all. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong? Im pulling between 55k - 60k dps on Praun and he seems to be going down pretty fast, any suggestions would be great, thanks

The encounter requires either a very good tank, decent healer(s) or a good mezzer.
The standard approach to the fight is to just double up on healers and kill the waves after killing Praun, but the incoming spikes can be a bit rough if you're not appropriately geared. The variation on that strategy is to just kill the 4 named one after another while leaving the adds up(each wave depops after a named is killed).
If you're low on healing/tank survivability, you can try to use CC to control the encounter. Going from memory, at least one of the named is mezzable, anoother is root'able and some of the add waves are also mezz'able.

If you are having serious issues with the 4 named in Palace (Praun, Warlord etc) turn off all your AEs, and single target the mobs and burn em down Zordiac/Praun/Warlord/Last guy in that order, the mobs coming up are dependant on how low the life gets on the names, you will essentially have Named/adds/named/adds if you do them one at a time without using any AE, if you do it this way you can even do this with one half assed geared defiler as your only healer.
