Has anyone gotten craft to make pota gear? It gives me greif with the sealers and cords even though i tell it to add them in manually with the other ingrediants.
I have been successful at using vgcraft at crafting POTA armor and I will share with you the steps I use to make it happen.

  • I did not mess with the Setup Tab
  • Under the Move Tab I checked the Finishing box... no other settings are needed
  • Under the Options Tab I checked Fix Complications and Load Extra Ingredients, unchecked everything else
  • Under the Items Tab I added these ingredients: Cleaner, Solvent, Treatment, Water, Bandages
  • Under the Recipe Tab I did the following:

  • checked Repeat Recipe and put how many times I want to repeat
  • select the Masterwork Pantheon Armor
  • select Step 1 with Action as:
    1=Breastplate
    2=Greaves
    3=Headgear
    4=Gloves
    5=Boots
    6=Pauldrons
  • unchecked the box for Check for Required Ingredients "this is a bit bugged but works on normal recipes"
  • Be sure to set your station
  • Program Ration is 33
  • Min Qual is 951
  • Max Qual is 951

Ok having an issue with the finishing part of the bot. I will fire up the bot for finishing and map it out. Once I start the script it will check the table for WOs and when it sees that I don't have any it will run to the finishing WO NPC. It will then get 1 WO and then just seem to freeze there. It won't pick up anymore WOs and my toon just stands there. Any ideas?

I have found that if you go ahead and get the other WOs yourself and restart the script that when you finish the WOs it will turn them in and get 3 more WOs and run as intended so really dont need a fix for this anymore.

Hi, first I would like to thank you for taking the time to write and develop all this to make our gaming a little easier.

I was wondering if this script is still being supported and if not does anyone know enough about how the code works to help me figure out some changes to it.

I have noticed that sometimes the script will just run through progress steps and not add much if any quality.

Also I was wondering if it is possible to change how the script attempts to decide what steps to take. In particular I find that the script places a lot of emphasis on utility steps where as I would like to place more on tool steps. I would like to prioritize the script so that it finishes all station/tool steps before starting on utilities and so that it pumps out as much quality from those actions and only then uses utilities to top it off.

Any suggestions, advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, So i kinda figured out whats happening. The bot seems to be doing (for me) around 100-105 work orders and then it begins saying it cant find anymore work orders and spazing out back and forth between NPC's.

The thing i find so weird about this problem is if you exit the bot and restart it. It was doing work orders again. The same work orders it just refused to pick up.

I ran it 5 diffrent times watching it and it was always between 100 and 105. Testing was done in Bordinar's Cleft.
I am having this same issue. Has anyone found a fix or workaround? Thanks!

Have used vgcraft for quite some time. Have not made any changes to the script yet when trying to craft a bunch of weathered bundles today, the script would kill the craft job right after it started over and over again. I lost over 200 harvested resouces before I noticed!! I tried changing the setting, turned off and on alarms, but same issue. When turning on debugging it is showing...

VG:FWS: Selecting Step: 2
VG:FindAction2: Found: Minor Application
VG:ExecuteAction: StepName:Softener ActionName:Minor Application APCost: 50
VG:ExecuteAction: Using: Minor Application
VGCraft:: Arg! Out of Sequence action try
VGCraft:: High Priority State Change:pState: 24 :: 22
VGCraft:: Arg! Ran out of action points!

Even though the craft job just started it's showing that it's out of Action Points which is false. Any ideas on how to correct this?

This really is a little bit frustrating. I used to play VG back when it first came out and I subscribed to ISXVG and actually got a few of my friends to subscribe as well. We are all working professionals and found the added functionality really worth the minimal investment.

When I found out VG is going free to play, I decided to try it again and also resubbed to ISXVG. Sadly, a lot of things no longer seem to work. The forums are deserted and I've tried on multiple occasions to find help on IRC, which, as far as I can tell, is populated by idle bots.

Then, when people do try to find solutions, we get replies that say we should learn to code.

I realize this is probably a dead project to the main dev and he's just enjoying whatever residual income comes his way. That's fine, good for him. I just think it's a little bit silly though, to ask customers to learn to code. Most people who are using ISXVG are implicitly saying that they value their time more than the money required to subscribe to someone else's code. All of that being said, I decided to attempt to learn, so I could get this bot to actually work again.

It has been an exercise in frustration. The documentation is sparse, scattered and sometimes nonexistent. The wikis are not well maintained and there really aren't very many resources to help guide a novice and explain the different layers and interplay between ISXVG as an extension, Inner Space as a platform, and LavishScript as a language.

I guess what I'm saying, respectfully, is that we're not here to learn to code. If you're done with this project, fine, just don't respond. If you're not done with this project, throw up some premium scripts, I'll happily be your first customer. And finally, if you're going to ask us to join the community and learn to code, at least have some sort of basic primer helping us to navigate through the different aspects of getting an isxvg script and ui up and running.

If you're still maintaining these forums, I'm going to assume that there are at least still a few VG clients. Now that the game has gone free to play, isn't it a good time to invest some resources into fixing up these broken scripts? Seems to me to be an emerging market.

I can help with any crafting logic, or with UI elements (my background is in graphic design). I can also learn quickly if you actually have anything resembling a manual for isxvg specific scripting.

Very disappointed that this is completely broken. The bot frequently cancels the work order prematurely, and even if it doesn't, it won't increase the quality at all. Anyone have a working version?

I just want to confirm that all of you are updating the script via SVN after you unzip the .zip file, right? (i.e., what the instructions give you.)

The .zip files (for all scripts) are never up-to-date, you have to update via SVN often.

Of course, you may have done this and it may be actually broken. However, I just wanted to check before I look into it. I will try to find some time to check on it soon.

Yes, I have updated via the SVN. The last update reads as Revision 3202. Thanks for checking it out.

Yea, the last update was by me in August 2012, when I know it was definately working. If memory serves, that was after the "big update" last year, ...or was it before? Anyway, I don't think many people really do crafting much anymore, which might be why it never got on the radar. However, I will see what I can do about logging in and remembering how crafting works...

I do upate ISXVG; however, I don't really maintain scripts. ISXVG only has a handful of subscribers left and I don't see a big influx happening anytime soon, so I primarily just update it for those people that still play and use the scripts they already use and update themselves. I did send an email to Zandros and one other who used to do a lot of scripting, so we'll see if either of them have updates that need to be added to the SVN.
