Eve with ISXEVE. Worth coming back to EvE for?

Like Title Says. I used to play Eve and then left for the sorry excuse of an MMO, Vanguard. I have since left that and thinking of coming back to EvE but with ISXEVE. Does it make it worth coming back for? I had a good time back 1 year ago. (I might even be stuck in 0.0 space with no Alliance also. But just wondering how much MORE fun it is now iwth ISXEVE.

Imagine VG without ISXVG .....that's EVE without ISXEVE.

Well, not exactly ...but, EVEBOT is very good for a mining bot (just have a second account to do that 24/7 and you can pay for everything you need that way.)

Also, the "warp to 0km to stargate on autopilot" is a very useful feature. I think a lot of people use ISXEVE just for that.

There are a TON of other things ...

oh yea...see this thread: http://www.isxgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1796

Then, look at the patch notes for everything I've added since I posted on that thread.

All MMO's have that mind-numbing "grind", and Eve is no exception. We grind agent missions, and we grind minerals.

IsxEve, like other ISX modules that preceeded it, allows you to write scripts for the mind-numbing elements of the game, while you concentrate on the fun elements of the game.

IsxEve is still a work in progress, but I really appreciate all the time and energy Amadeus and the script writers put into it. Some of their stuff I use "as is", but most I modify (or use as examples when developing my own scripts) to suit my particular style of play.

To me, MMO games are more fun because of what projects like IsxEve allow me to do in the game. I have fun writing scripts and macros, and trying different things out -- and that keeps my interest in a game longer than it otherwise would. I probably would have quit Eve by now, if it weren't for IsxEve.

Myself,
I've found it rather difficult to mine in 0.0 space with evebot. Once I have the money to but a rokh I may be able to finally leave it alone though...

All and all, ISXEVE has made EVE much more enjoyable for me, and once we have a 0.0 rat bot it will be MUCH better.

I've got 3 hulks + a hauler mining for about 6 hours a day and make roughly 100m with that. It allows me to PvP without doing the boring stuff like rat etc.

If you look at it though, its rather crap money

6 hours, 100m, roughly 4.2m per hour per character.

Which is why I'm thinking about writing a 0.0 Rat Bot, thinking about how the framework should work atm.

Also thinking how I can combine this with EVEBot to allow for safe(r) 0.0 mining, as far as I know CyberTech is still converting EVEBot to C#.NET which should help get developers to chip in (imho).

In the end what ISXEvE can do is take away the annoying stuff in eve (mining / ratting / etc) and allows you to do the fun stuff (whatever that is for you, for me its pvp in expensive ships).

ISXEve made eve worth it for one reason for me, it cost me 5$ a month to maintain 6 separate accounts with 6 relatively nice characters :p

I recently canceled my subscription, but I'll be starting it back up soon, I'm in empire mission running and I need that salvage script for running level 3-4's...
