EXT unloads every time

I have downloaded and installed the new version of the EQ2 file and replaced it in the directory as indicated. However, every time I type ext isxeq2 it goes through and checked for updates and then unloads.

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem and it's because I patched for the valentines day event or something. Any estimate on when a new update will be coming? Thanks! :) Or are we stuck until the next forced patch?

The VD patch was forced, but if you didn't patch on the correct day, the time/date stamp of the executable may be off.

Copy and paste exactly what you're seeing in the console.

Also, when you run EverQuest2 you are not running the patcher, right? (ie, you followed the walkthrough exactly from the website?)

If you are using the EverQuest2.exe from February 10 (ie, http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/200902092208-EverQuest2.exe.zip ) ...and not running the patcher...then it should work.
When I type ext isxeq2 what I get is this....

Your version of EverQuest2.exe does not match this build of ISXEQ2.
This particular build of ISXEQ2 was designed to work with the first EverQuest2.exe that was patched
on February 10, 2009. If you have installed ISXEQ2 for the first time, then you should download
this version of EverQuest2.exe from http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/ and place it in your
EverQuest2 directory. If this is a patch day, and the client is 'forcing' you to update, then you
will need to be patient and wait for a new version of ISXEQ2 to be released. For more up-to-date information
you can join us on IRC at irc.lavishsoft.com (channel #isxeq2), or visit the forums at
http://www.isxgames.com/forums.

EverQuest2 Extension for Innerspace (By Amadeus) *UNLOADED*
Extension 'isxeq2' unloaded

This is AFTER following the walkthrough and replacing the files and such. This message is current as of today the 16th, and yes, we are not running the patcher.

Everything you need to fix it is right there in the message. Click the link to the auto archives and download the everquest2.exe that is dated Feb. 10th. Place that in your eq2 folder and launch with the no-patch option.

Yes, Pygar, I *HAVE* done those things. Yet, the error message still remains.

This is the one you need: http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/200902092208-EverQuest2.exe.zip ...it is the one with the date of February 10, 2009.

If EVERYTHING else is shutdown ...innerspace, EQ2, etc.. ...you place that in your EverQuest2 folder (OVERWRITING the EverQuest2.exe that is already there) ...then launch EQ2 with innerspace making sure that it launches EverQuest2 without launching the patcher -- then, this will not happen.

Also the file is zipped up, make sure to uncompress it and copy the file that's inside the folder on over. I have seen quite a few people just copy the zip file on over and think there good.
