Are you strip mining or trying to do selective? I've never done ice mining. Can you be specific as to what you can't do?

Ok. I will look into it very soon. Shouldn't take much to update. As of right now, it doesn't do ice. I'll update this thread when it does.

I figured this is a better place to discuss this than the locmon thread (since that script appears to be dead).

Is there any description of what BJ Intel does? In any case, here's what I'd like it to do if it's possible:

    1. Have intel 'modes'. Base this on the Safety Setting in Eve. If set to red, it notifies you of all neuts, oranges, and reds in system with an audible sound and flashing popup. This goes for Partial Safety as well, but disables this notification if safety is on.
    2. Auto-Report. Specify a chat channel where alliance or coalition intel is posted. The second a neutral is in system, I'd like it to link the solar system, then the player name, and, if available, shiptype. If multiple then just put one person's name and +number of all others.
    3. Notify of threats in high sec and low sec systems if your alliance or corp is at war.

That's what I'm looking for right now. At the VERY least, I'd like to be notified the moment a neutral enters

It does number 1 already minus the audible alert.

#2 I'll look into as I've never posted to a chat channel before.

This Astro Bot is very nice, very good work. I'm not doing mining at the moment, but I'm doing quite a bit of ratting. Might I make some suggestions for this whenever you do get around to building it?

-Right now all dungeons for Havens, Forsaken Hubs, etc. are errored in the console. It doesn't read any of them. I also don't see any stations for the auto-flee setup. Obviously making these viewable and readable and usable will go a long way ;)
-Allow 'warp to distance', and auto align to station.
    -Auto engage modules
-Auto disable modules after time frame (to conserve cap, such as Shield Rep, Armor Rep, or Networked Sensor Array, as these are only needed for brief intervals.
-Monitor Probe Scanner for "new signatures". Upon new signature, initiate auto-flee.
-Abandon fighters, recall AFTER warping to zero to aligned station. Once fighters are recalled, dock.
-Once docking, await manual initiation of auto-ratting, do not undock and auto-rat automatically as new signatures (wormholes) could be in system
-Monitor PVE chat room for called sites. Ratters usually call which sites they're going to rat in. Ensure you don't auto-warp to a site someone else has already called.
-If you enter a site and someone else is already ratting there, auto warp to the next site.
-Auto-launch fighter squadrons, and target rats, fight smaller rats first, larger rats later.
-Select which fighting tactics you want to use.
    1. One Squad per rat.
    2. Two Squads on one rat, one on another, and flip flop down the line.
    3. All Squads on one rat.
    4. Either 1 or 2 for smaller rats, then 3 for larger rats.

    -Auto flee when dreadnought arrives.
-Auto recall squadron when a fighter is dark orange, or when missiles are empty.
-If a rat takes longer than 20 seconds to destroy, launch missiles from the squadron that's targeting it, but not others.

Obviously that's a HUGE list of really complex crap to handle, but I just put it on the list anyways, because that's kind of what I do when I rat in my thanny.

However, I would like to be able to utilize the auto-flee function, even though I'm not mining or hauling, if you can make that separate from those two modules. This way while I'm ratting, if a neut comes in system, I can auto flee to station. However, I don't want to auto-dock, i want to auto-flee to zero at the station, and then I'll recall my fighters, otherwise they'll get lost

Please copy and paste the exact error message for those types of anoms here so that I can add them to the list. That's why I put the error message in the console in the first place. :)

Is there a station in the system? If there is a not a station in the system, you will need to change your sorting options on the Indexes page to either Region or Constellation in order to see them.
Are you using a citadel instead? If it's a citadel, you need to dock in it and add it to the custom structure list on the Indexes page before it will be available as a destination.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll refer to it when I start to work on the ratting portion of AstroBot. I currently do not have an ETA as to when that will be.

Ok, I will go trough and reconfig ISBOXER and ISBOXER Launcher. Hope this will fix that error.
I have a second PC where is only one client running isxeve and isxbjeve + AstroBot. Here I have the following issue: When ship ore hold is fulll, ship warps back to station, dock's, opens station inventory and ship ore hold, but not transfering the ore to ship.

In the AstroBot Inventory Page have the following data: Asteroid:Category:Ship Ore Hold:Station Items:0 , do i config here something wrong?

    Thx for help.

First, awesome script! Cannot wait till you finish it 100%

An issue i cannot figure out. I want to use selective mining inorder to avoid mining scordite astroids first, but when selecting selective mining, the dropdown menu is empty.

I have followed your setup guide on your website, and I've searched for an answer without luck.

I'm using 1.023. Same issue on my laptop. Maybe I am doing something wrong??

Another thing, is it possible for the "slaves" in a fleet to request more than one target from the mining foreman?

Hey BJ the bot does not seem to be working, it just undocks and doesn't do anything. I tried starting it in the belt, outside the station, and in the station and all it does is undock and open the ore hold window. I managed to get around this by ticking mining foreman. After taking a look at the debug it just running a loop on checking mining navigation options. Also if I define 3 targets for mining the bot only locks one. It also does not unload the ore hold when it docks in station.

    Hello Casey,

Been using your script for awhile now, and here are some notes Ive made:

    Error determining anomaly type:
    Small Asteroid Cluster
    Thick Blue Ice Belt
    Medium Asteroid Cluster
    Small Asteroid Cluster

Would really like an option where I dump ore into a can (not just eject everytime hold is full)
When ejecting ore, the bot only eject one type of ore, and not the whole ore bay.
I am no able to slelect selective mining. Empty target list. (Mentioned before)
When using mining foreman selection, I want the bot to be able to request more targets (should be an option).
It looks botish when using mining drone, the bot recalls the drones to the drone bay upon completion of a asteroid, and then relaunches them once the new asteroid has been locked.

Would love a "mine here" function. I am supervising the bot 99% of the time, due to mining in nullsec, so I just want it to select asteroids and mine, deposit the ore as I like (can, hold or fleet hangar). I like the flee option for this aswell. Will save me if I am uaware for a sec :)

In addition to what the friend EveMiner88 says, it also fails that when he returns to the station to empty the mineral charge, he does not return to the cintron of asteroids and stays in space without doing anything. Even though I'm in higsec I also stop looking at it because it is still not very reliable. Sorry he had put it in Spanish.:):):):)

BJ - would it be possible to build a pulse into Astrobot that would maybe fire every 60secs to check if Ore Hold is full and if so, call the function to warp to station and unload? Just as a fail-safe, as currently my miner is randomly continuing to mine an asteroid despite his ore hold being full and will sit for hours doing so.

    So far for patch 19:
When undocking it does not warp to asteroid belt, I have a mining navigation route set and in the debug it's looping this message:
[Buffer:AstroBot_Main}: NAVIGATION DEBUG: My active task is Mining. Checking Mining Navigation options.

Also on the second account I have running the mining foreman for the first account is not showing and is not showing any of the saved profiles except for the one I created on the second.

With the update next week (Version 1.024c):
    • When solo mining, AstroBot will correctly perform Inventory Management checks when in a station. This means it will correctly unload ore to station.
    • When solo mining, AstroBot will now correctly return to the previous asteroid belt after returning to station.
Is this when solo mining? Are you strip mining or selective focus mining?

The following patch is now available! Thank-you to everyone who has submitted feedback. I feel that this is the most stable AstroBot has ever been and it's only getting better!

    ISXBJEVE - 2018.01.08, Patch # 19

    Astro Bot-2017.09.25,Version 1.024b

    • Inventory Changes
      • Extensive changes are underway for how AstroBot manages it's inventory space.
      • Inventory Management Checks will now move items that match the criteria in bulk. This significantly reduced the transfer time. For example, transferring 5 stacks of items saw it's time reduced from 29 seconds to 2 seconds.
      • Inventory Page - Cargo Limits has been renamed to Active Cargo Holds and an Ignore Hold checkbox has been added as an option. If a cargo hold is to be ignored, it will not trigger a full cargo hold event.
        • All cargo holds must be added to the Active Cargo Holds listbox in order to be tracked.
        • All cargo holds that are being tracked will now be opened as individual windows. My suggestion is to pin them somewhere on your screen and resize them to be smaller.
        • You can now re-order the Item Management listbox.
        • Corrected a bug with Item Management (Source and Destination names). SORRY, but you have either need to remake your list or edit your profile to change Ship Cargo to Ship Cargo Hold.
      • Corrected a bug with division by zero when using the transfer from fleet hangar hauling mode.
      • Corrected a bug with the fleet hangar window not staying open when in a station.
    • Corrected a bug with populating the Selective - Focus Laser Options combobox.
    Astro Bot-2018.01.01,Version 1.024c
    • Settings Page - The delay between transferring items (default = 2 deciseconds) can now be configured by the user.
    • If a slow down message box is displayed, the message will now be logged to the debug file and AstroBot will now close the window. This check is completed once every 5 seconds.
    • Inventory Page - Changed the Keep In Destination message to indicate that you can use -1 to transfer all of an item.
    • The jetcan rename textentry will now properly save and load with a profile.
    • Added additional debug information to the message when a Destination TypeID can't be found.
    • Greatly reduced the Active Task Debug spam by limiting I am a Miner and I am a Mining Foreman texts to once every 60 seconds.
    • When a target is out of module range, AstroBot will no longer give an error message and then attempt to use the module anyway.
    • When solo mining, AstroBot will correctly perform Inventory Management checks when in a station. This means it will correctly unload ore to station.
    • When solo mining, AstroBot will now correctly return to the previous asteroid belt after returning to station.
    • When an anomaly type is not located in the reference file, AstroBot will now log the anomaly information in the debug file.
    Astro Bot-2018.01.05,Version 1.024d
    • Aliases Page
      • Description: Aliases are designed to make it easier to share profiles or use profiles on multiple pilots. Think of aliases are a substitution. Instead of using a pilot name in multiple spots, you could define an alias for the pilot name and use that alias anywhere you want.
      • Possible Alias Types:
        • Station Name - Any time you would normally select a station, you can now use an alias instead.
        • Pilot Name - Any place where you would normally select a pilot name, you can now use an alias instead.
    • Debug Page - Unchecking the write to file option will now clear the information stored in memory.
    • Removed Jetcan as an option for On Inventory Full until Amadeus can fix a bug with reading space container capacity.
    Astro Bot-2018.01.07,Version 1.024e
    • Corrected a bug with Dock and Pause at the end of the navigation route. Everyone should now safely return to station.
    • Added a checkbox to the Admin Page to include sensitive data when performing a profile export. This is not recommended if you intend to share your profile with another person.
    • Corrected a bug with fleeing due to pilot standings. Standings have been split into 3 groupings: My (Personal) Standings, Corporation Standings and Alliance Standings. If enabled and the standing is below your threshold, it will trigger a flee. When checking a pilot's standing, it will check the pilot standing, the pilot's corporation standing and the pilot's alliance standing against whatever standing you have decided to enable. NOTE: Standings are based on the 5 point system (-10, -5, 0, +5, +10) that EVE uses for contacts.
    • Added additional debug information to the Inventory routine responsible for opening and obtaining the remaining cargo space for someone else's fleet hangar.
    • Added 2 new API commands: ImportProfile and LoadProfile
      • Both take 2 parameters (P1 = ForWho and P2 = Profile to Import-Load)

Who can make tutorial with screenshots for astrobot?
I see more than year for developing this project, but i dont understand how to run it.
So sadly. Before I use kaneda evecombine.

What do you want to know? What is your playstyle? Ships used? Fleet or solo?

A year ago I was mining with 20 accounts on 1 PC with evecombine. Today, many people use a rorqual.
Can i use astrobot with mackinaw or rorqual in nullsec? Can astrobot warpout to POS or citadel, when neutral come in local? Can astrobot drop ore to corporation hangar array on pos or hangar in citadel?
Can astrobot use drones to mining and medium drones to kill respawn?
I am sorry for to many stupid question. But I did not find an answer to my questions during the past year, when I read this forum, read wiki and read IRC chat.

When I read such a list it is very difficult for me to understand that the bot knows how, and what does not. What does the Combat (20% Complete)? Who can he kill, but who does not? Can he detect when shield is ending?

What does Fleet Communication (40% Complete)? I do not understand what that means at all.

Also I see contradictions, for example:
Fleeing (80% Complete) - Remaining (Flee to Bookmark and return bookmark, Flee on low ammo, Flee on capital spawn)
    But! Bookmarking (0% Complete)
If the bot does not know how to make a bookmark, how does it go back to the anomaly? He does not bookmark before flying out of the anomaly?

If I could run and touch astrobot itself, then this would solve 99% of my questions. But, unfortunately, I nowhere could find the actual information on how to install, configure and run the program.

I am sorry for my bad english and use google translate.

I am very pleased that you are doing this project and I am grateful to you for responding to my questions.
I am ready and I want to pay money for using your intellectual work. I work in this industry. I'm a devops and I studied for a programmer and I understand that it's worth it.
    Thank you very much!

Something is off with the flee settings. Not sure what to put in values, but when I do, it flees due to my own pilots presence, when i put in values 4.
What I need, is for the bot to flee when non-alliance member and non corp member, and pilots with a standing below 5 for the "special" assigend trusted pilots in our system/are in local.
Alliance and corp members does not have a standing/the standing is 0 as it is corp and alliance members.

In the intel window, I can see that you are assigning values to the pilots in the system. Looks like 1-9, 9 being myself, 3 is neuts. Maybe you can utilize this in the flee section?

Not being able to mine in anon. is an issue for me. It is very bottish that I mine Veldespar in regular asteroid belts, when we have Arkonor in anon belts :p So my testing capilities are limited for me. Looking forward to the anon. update :p

I'm working on anoms right now. As far as flee, it has nothing to do with Intel. It uses the game standings of -10, -5, 0, +5, +10.

That is the issue, because alliance and corp players does not have a standing, hence the reason my char wants to escape itself, or if any of my alliance or corp players enters the system.

Right. So add your alliance and corp to your pilot's personal standings and it'll work just fine.

    Here is what I've done:

    1. Added Alliance to +10 standing
    2. Added the corp to +10 standing
    3. Set Flee Setting "My Standings" to < 4 in Local
    4. Start bot - Bot flee condition becomes true due to the pressence of a pilot in the system, an alliance pilot.

    New test:
    1. Give the detected pilot a personal +10 standing in-game
    2. Keep Flee setting "My Standings" to < 4
    3. Close Astrobot
    4. Reload Astrobot
    5. Start bot - The flee condition now becomes true, due to the next alliance pilot in the system, but accepts the pilot from above test.

It does not seem like Astrobot reads my personal corp or alliance standing, but only the standing I have towards the pilot on a pilot level. Also tried to restart the game.
Even tried putting a < 4 in Alliance flee setting, just to make sure I havnt misunderstood something.

Thanks for the detailed description of the bug. I was able to reproduce it.

Right now, it's failing because it's written like: YouToPilot or YouToPilotCorp or YouToPilotAlliance --- If any of those fail, the flee condition is triggered.

How about adding those values together instead.
For example, YouToPilot = -10, YouToPilotCorp = 5, YouToPilotAlliance = 0 --- This would result in a -5 personal standing overall and based on your settings of < 4 it would trigger the flee.
For example 2, YouToPilot = +10, YouToPilotCorp = 0, YouToPilotAlliance = 0 --- This would result in a -+10 personal standing overall and based on your settings of < 4 it would not trigger the flee.

Does that makes sense to do it that way?

I understand why it is failing by reading your "or" statement, I do not understand how you want to temp make a it work. You want me to add all the pilots in my corp to my personal standing :p?

No. I was using just your personal standings as an example. I would apply the same addition logic to corp standings and alliance standings. In the end, the way you'd fix it is my adding your corp to your personal standings.

I have added my corp and alliance to my personal standings, following your example, this would look like:
    InGame settings: YouToPilot = 0, YouToPilotCorp = 10, YouToPilotAlliance = 10 --- This would result in a 20 personal standing overall.
BJ AstroBot settings: Flee -> Local -> My Standing: ON, value set to 4
    Result: Bot flees anyways.

That addition idea isn't available yet. I was talking the problem out with you.
