is that built in for that fight? and is there a way to Only enable the Cure side of it, not the combat side (i do alot better than the bot does for raid combat heh.)

Ogrebot is a premium (subscription) bot that is not default with ISXEQ2, eq2botcommander.iss has nothing to do with it.

Since I use Ogrebot (it rocks) I wouldn't waste time writing a script that duplicates a function I already have avaliable, however if you want to give a shot at coding it yourself, everything you need is on the wiki, and posting your attempts here or asking in IRC for help with something you are working on will get you the script you want, AND teach you a bit about writing scripts.

ya everyone seems to just suggest upgrading and paying a 3rd subscription than to worry about the "already paying for subscription". But something everyone seems to forget is why would we be forced to pay 3 subscriptions if we are paying for 2 and expecting at least somewhat of a current product. You can modify the "2 Sub" one to only do instances and crafting and such.. and make the "3 Sub" one raiding aspect / farming.. But trying to sell 2 subscriptions that's 3years old content and than after they signup just lure everyone to pay a additional subscription is kind of annoying.. This is just my Opinion..

Just for future notice.. If all questions refer to "2 Sub" edition all customer support will suggest you upgrade to 3 subscription acount "Ogre Bot".. That is also annoying..

People are free to ask whatever they want, and folks are free to answer with the responses that they feel best answer the question.

Anyone here will be happy to help you if you start the process and have SPECIFIC questions. If you don't want to pay for things, then start the process of learning how to do it yourself. All of the folks you see writing scripts started out with ZERO knowledge of lavishscript and taught themselves. Yes, it takes time and energy -- that's why people expect you to pay for it!

I'm offended you have the same Avatar as me.

The writer of Ogre spends a large portion of his time during the day maintaining his scripts. He puts serious effort into keeping everything up to date, so ofcourse he charges.

Meanwhile... It is completely worth the money to let SOME ONE ELSE do all the work for you so you can enjoy the best automation software for eq2 ever built.

Don't get so offended I know Ogre-bot probably frustrated with EQ2bot and put in a lot of time into a newer updated bot. But if someone wants Ogre-bot and not the Eq2bot than we should just pay for Inner space + ogre-bot, not everything..

My wife and I spent 1wk upgrading the scripts and casting order spell list and UI form for 5 classes and still trying to modify the other classes scripts. Hell my Rygor guys are parsing 500k+ (6bot group in Tofsx2) I have no problem giving these scripts away to public if people assist me along the way. I ask roughly 3 questions along with my wife and not one person responded to any question... The only response I have ever gotten is from the defense of Ogre-bot. Doesn't that just prove my original point though?

Just for the record ogrebot is has nothing to do with isxeq2 or interspace it was written by kannkor for his own use. Some of us like me asked him what he used so I donated money to him to get "his" program. Yes it needs both interspace and isxeq2 to work but it is his hard work and hours of time . And for the price it's well worthit. I know this doesn't help answer your question but this is how ogrebot got started.

It's 3 pieces of software because they all do different things.

Innerspace allows a game to be loaded inside of it, exposing it's memory for use.
ISXEQ2 reads this memory, and provides a method to interact with it.
ISXOgre uses the methods ISXEQ2 provides to do logic (cast spells, etc).

Each of the above was development and maintained by different people. Amadeus's walkthrough uses this anology, it's like buying an operating system, then buying a piece of software for that operating system. In this case it just goes 1 more deep.

You seem to be under a mistaken impression. You're not paying for ISXEQ2 and EQ2Bot. You're paying for ISXEQ2, and nothing else.

EQ2Bot is a community-supported free bot, written by volunteers. If you've improvements to EQ2Bot (your second paragraph implies such) you'd be well-received if you asked Amadeus for commit rights to SVN and submitted your improvements to the bot.

Yes, I'm happy to provide access to competent scripters to commit changes to EQ2Bot. I might check it a bit at first to make sure it's good, but after a while I would trust you like any of the other standard scripters.

Anyway, yea, EQ2Bot is open source and free. The issue is just that those that wrote it originally (and the folks that maintained it for so long, including me) no longer play EQ2. So, it's just a project waiting for someone else to come along.

OgreBot is a separate script. Kannkor holds the copyright and he is well within his rights to ask for compensation for his hard time/work/energy.

-----------

You're simply dealing with an industry that has a lot of folks working for themselves rather than one conglomeration that is packaging it all up as one product. Lax makes his product, I make mine, and Kannkor makes his. Fortunately, none of them are required to play EQ2 -- so it's all optional and therefore a 'luxury item' designed for those that can afford it.
