Agnott said:For the life of me I can't seem to fix this one problem. I just want the bot to craft all the work orders I have none stop.
I will do all the running around.
It launches the recipe window then says it "cant target the crafting table"
It does this after crafting each item. I have to pick the recipe each time then it works fine.
I get the feeling im overlooking somthing simple here.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. And thanks to the powers that be... this is a fantasic system.
Be sure you have the proper station selected and recipe type. i.e. finishing/refining. The only time i used to get this was if I was trying to do finishing recipes, but had refining checked or refining station selected on accident. In other words, even if your not doing full auto bot. You have to have your proper finishing and refining option selected depending on what you are doing.Allblacks said:Agnott, did you get a fix for this as i am having the exact same problems and i want to do exactly the same as you do.. Totally new to this only got it yesterday and i have to keep clicking on the crafting station to start up the w/o

1. You can already do this. Just enter the ingredient name into the extra ingredients section. There are not enough table slots to be able to have all possible problem solving utilities.figmentus said:First off, nice script out of box and well done.
Just a couple requests I suppose,
1. Be able to buy extra ingredients as listed (optionals) for problem resolution
and
2. Avoid getting rid of "good" complications like Flawless Work, which are actually beneficial.
Beyond that the script seems to work great, there are a few quality vs. progress issues in the T5 but they seem to be getting resolved.
yup. IIRC at lvl 50 you'll be able to specify up to 5 extra items for WOs (2 required + 5 extra for comps). It'd be nice if we could put something like "buy solvent unless it's already required" since some WOs use it as fuel but it's also used for some comp clearing actions.figmentus said:in regards to 1. If I put water on my extra ingreds list, it will automatically buy water at the vendor?
Lower the path precision value. I think 80 is the minimum, and that works fine for me. Also, if possible, make your paths so that you give any obstacles as wide a berth as you can.Zale00 said:Is there any way to make it so that your bot actually follows the path that you created when moving back and forth between stations and NPCs? It seems like once it targets a npc it stops following the path and runs straight to that NPC. Which ends up getting stuck in the side of objects.
Any way to do that? I would much rather have my bot follow the path that I created to the NPCs besides running straight at them and getting stuck once it targets them.
That's not what he is talking about, Path precision won't change his problem. We all have this problem. It won't be fixed till cyber releases new nav code and xeon updates this bot.thezig said:Lower the path precision value. I think 80 is the minimum, and that works fine for me. If you are using soo much solvent that you do not have enough to finish the recipe & remove complications, you are doing something wrong. I never have this problem and never run out of ingredients.thezig said:yup. IIRC at lvl 50 you'll be able to specify up to 5 extra items for WOs (2 required + 5 extra for comps). I have. You can probably force it by taking a hard work order and taking off a piece or two or +utility gear.djvj said:If you are using soo much solvent that you do not have enough to finish the recipe & remove complications, you are doing something wrong. Then perhaps the problem needs to be explained better because the problem as described is kind of just by design. The only issue I've run into in all my testing is if the taskmaster happens to be moving when it requests a path from the navigation system. Even in this scenario, I believe the system keeps recalculating the path as it traverses it, so the only real issue is when the bot thinks it's at the closest point to the taskmaster, but in truth they (the taskmasters) are still moving away from you and it's 'possible' that if they are about to go through a door or turn a corner around a box that the bot would then try to run through it. It's a very rare scenerio for me. (I've contemplated putting in code to wait for the taskmaster to stop moving before pathing to them, but just haven't bothered since Xeon keeps saying a new version is around the corner.) Otherwise the changes I've outlined in the lavishnav for vgcb thread have solved all of my issues with pathing as of the .99999 (? on number of 9's) release.djvj said:That's not what he is talking about, Path precision won't change his problem. When the bot is targetting a NPC or station it runs straight to it besides going along the path. It targets and runs straight to them from like 30 meters away, so besides following the path to get to that NPC area it will run straight to it. Thus getting stuck in whatever objects are in the way.spudman said:Then perhaps the problem needs to be explained better because the problem as described is kind of just by design. I wonder if part of the issue is people still not understanding how the current pathing system works. It's really not a path ever since lavishnav was implemented. It's a mesh of boxes and if the taskmaster doesn't fall directly within one of those boxes it's going to go to the closest one and then make a b-line to them. Make sure you have as much ground that the taskmaster wanders covered by your mapping system as possible.
If all you ever want it to do is go to a certain spot and then wait for the taskmaster to return to that spot, then that's a feature that would need to be added.
Can you give me a little clearer idea of exactly what the problem, since 'all' of us are having it? If it's not too much to fix it, I might do it.
Have you implemented all the changes I outlined in the lavishnav for vgcb thread? This sounds like this problem...Zale00 said:When the bot is targetting a NPC or station it runs straight to it besides going along the path. Best fix I can think of for this is make it so that you can set the max targetting distance of a npc before the bot runs straight to it. That way it can continue along the path without running into buildings as the bot tries to get to the NPC.
misagh said:I'm having a couple of issues at the moment...
Sometimes, seemingly at random, the bot only picks up 1 w/o at a time. It does the set or batch, and returns and gets more. If I pause it, and pick up more on my own, it will only do one of each of the new batchs and then turn in.
If it's trying to interact with the TM while it's moving this does occasionally cause problems, however in my experience the bot should sit there and when the TM returns along it's path near the player it should resume. Supposedly there is a new version coming around the corner with improved nav, etc. I'll try to do small fixes until that time on nav issues, but since the bot will continue once the TM comes back along their path, I don't see this as a huge issue. Besides it makes it look like you walked away to get a pop (soda for all the PA people) or something.misagh said:Second (for some reason I've been having this more often lately) the bot navigates to the taskmaster, stops, and seemingly trys to interact with the taskmaster - all while the taskmaster is moving. The taskmaster gets out of range, and the bot sits there complaining it can't find a path to the taskmaster, when there is a clear path to him. If I pause the bot, move the toon slightly and turn it back on it will resume fine but it's an annoyance.
Can't help ya here. I started digging into the crafting logic once and quickly said f-it, it's good enough. The crafting logic is a bear in and of itself.misagh said:Third, and I've mentioned this before...
lol, yeah, if I was Xeon, I'd want to know how shitty my product was rather than how good it was.misagh said:Not that I'm criticizing your work at all, I think this is an incredible little bot, but I'm sure you'd rather hear about the problems than all the things which it does right (which are plenty).
Moderates become increasingly difficult as you progress into T5 because it gradually becomes impossible to max out your EE (finding any gear at all is an issue, too). For T5, I just did easy orders and went for A grade.Trocious said:What are some good settings for T5? I either fail a lot, or don't get the quality it is capable of.
Currently, it's at:
Do moderate work orders, singles sets and batches.
Progress slider is at 25, min quality at 35, max at 75. extra quality prefers tools.

Yup this is HUGE. Xeon, plz fixBeernuT said:confirmed, it does effect the bot, I ate a couple of bags before I realized it.
Wouldn't just telling it to not open supply packs work for now? Then open them manually every now and then or when you go away, since you're not fully afk botting right?thezig said:Yup this is HUGE. Xeon, plz fix![]()

Ditto... someone fix it quick!axion said:Crashing here too
figmentus said:Another issue, it seems at the end of a workorder I will crash, not sure how related this is, but prior to patch I crashed maybe 1 time in 9 days straight of VG running...
Also, the bags thing is definitely a change....going to have to do an open and /lootall on them now
edit: I can confirm in window or fullscreen I've crashed 12/12 times on the end of a work order set now every single time, don't know why this is either. craftingbot is losing it's mind on supply packs as well.

no, not fully afk botting, but sometimes VG stays minimized for hours while I play something else![]()

Drox is custom UI, but as stated, never crashed prior to this for days on end, VG itself takes a dive, but typically only on the ending of a series of workorders (when they need to turn in to taskmaster)
I noticed the same exact thing and lost out on a heroic needle because of it canceling out the loot window on the last bag. Seems to only happen on the last bag it needs to open after doing batchesSyco said:Noticed soemthing new on crafting.
WHen you open your Supply Pack/Kit/Bag WO Rewards, it now has the Loot Window.
Not sure if its just me, but some of the Loot is not Autolooted now
I think it may be missing the /lootall command after you open the reward bags as it was not needed before pre-patch today.
Yes , I think the problem may be not with scripts for one of the underlying programs , wether it's with ISXVG or Inner Space I don't know...tvbever said:I confirm. Very unstable with all scripts. Kbot, vgcrafthelper, vgcraftbot and even Radar..
